Pingpongly has partnered with Ping Pong for Good to create a global campaign to highlight the benefits of Ping Pong (also known as Table Tennis) for health and wellness. Aside from being a fun way to spend an afternoon with family and friends, table tennis offers surprisingly great health benefits for all ages. Like most sports, table tennis offers great mind-body stimulation, aerobic exercise, and social interaction. It can be done at all ages and any all levels and provides a unique opportunity for inter-generational interaction that provides socially distanced fun for all!
- Educate people about the benefits of ping pong (physical, mental and socially) especially for seniors.
- Provide resources for ping pong set ups of all types (full size, mini, conversion tops and portable nets that can attach to any tabletop) at a range of prices, even when there is limited space and/or budget.
- Provide sponsorships and grants to provide for ping pong play to support those who can’t afford it and are in the greatest need.
- Track the results of this initiative to support and expand the research and studies

Join the fun and spread the word about the incredible benefits of the simple and fun act of playing ping pong
by taking part in the “Beat Eileen Greene Challenge!” (see details below)
On July 5th, Eileen Greene recently set a likely world record for a 90+ year old for consecutive rallies playing ping pong with her son, Richard! They did 1,023 CONSECUTIVE hits, without a mistake, over 11 minutes and 37 seconds of non-stop minutes of play. Check out the video below to see a sample of her ping pong prowess!
Eileen Greene is inspiring a movement to encourage ping pong play of all ages! Eileen wants other seniors like herself to experience the significant mental and physical benefits of playing ping pong during Quarantine, or at any time. And she wants people of all ages, especially young people stuck at home, to be able to do so as well. And, maybe, for socially distanced ping pong to bring the generations together . . . and, perhaps, the whole world as we battle our collective health crisis.
